Dr. Cook earned her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR).  In addition to her private practice Dr. Cook has worked at  various federal and state facilities including state developmental disability centers and educational developmental intervention services within the US defense department making a positive impact on families’ lives.  

Dr. Cook is skilled in assessing various neurodevelopmental disorders including Autism (ASD), Asperger, Social-communication Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD), and specific learning disorders.  She is currently providing assessments for the Nevada State Autism Treatment Assistance Program (ATAP) and school districts in Northern Nevada including Washoe County School District.
