Kennedy Storey, MSW, LCSW, provides a compassionate and supportive therapeutic environment for individuals across the state of Utah. She works with clients (ages 6-65+) to navigate life’s challenges, build emotional resilience and cognitive understanding, to engage in authentic and valued self-expression.

She practices with a relational, humanistic, and client-centered approach, and works collaboratively with her clients to identify supportive treatment structure to create movement toward the client’s personal goals and desires. Kennedy specializes in treating anxiety, depression, and traumatic stress. With a prominent clinical background in supporting foster and adoptive families/individuals, Kennedy offers skilled guidance for those experiencing attachment concerns, complex trauma, and emotional difficulties related to adoption and foster care. She is deeply committed to providing affirming care for individuals exploring gender identity, faith transitions, and those experiencing major life transitions.

Kennedy draws on evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT and TF-CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and mindfulness-based approaches. She is a therapeutic art practitioner and enjoys integrating therapeutic art, parental coaching/support, and collaborative care strategies to enhance growth and well-being for a full continuum of support outside of the therapeutic hour.

Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys creative hobbies such as: watercolor painting, digital art, and amateur film photography. She creates balance in her life through hiking, roller skating, and quiet afternoons with her husband, her cat, and a favorite novel.
