Jessie is a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and Registered Play Therapist with a deep passion for exploring family dynamics and cultures, which developed during her undergraduate studies in Family Studies at Utah Valley University. Her love for working with families and children motivated her to become a therapist. She founded Affinity Family Counseling with a desire to provide competent and compassionate therapeutic services to those in need of mental health support, which is further driven by her exposure to different cultures.

Jessie’s clinical focus centers on attachment, trauma, depression, and anxiety. She employs an approach that fosters creativity, self-trust, authenticity, and self-love. Jessie is trained in various modalities, including Play therapy, EMDR, ART, experiential therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).
