Marissa Guerrero, LMFT, is a bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a decade of experience working with children and families. She earned her master’s degree in Irvine at Alliant International University, in 2014, and prior to that her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at California Polytechnic State University in Pomona.  

Marissa’s early career involved community-based programs where she focused on supporting children with ADHD and other behavioral issues, as well as assisting parents with advocacy and parenting challenges. Later, she also provided therapeutic services to women facing domestic violence, inter-generational trauma, and anxiety.  Lastly, Marissa also worked closely with adults to manage behaviors associated with their own ADHD, anxiety, and depression.

Hobbies for our bilingual clinician, who speaks English and Spanish, include: quality time with her own children and also listening to a variety of podcasts.  She is warm, flexible, adaptable, confident, professional, and culturally aware.
